Subgroups/Committees of NCA
Narmada
Control Authority comprises 17 members including Chairman. As per
the clause 9 (2) (a) of the Narmada Water scheme, the Authority can
form one or more subgroup and assign to them such of its function
and delegate such of its powers as it thinks fit. At present six
subgroups/committee/subcommittee have been set up by the Authority
as under -

Subgroup under the Chairmanship of Secretary, MOEF.
Resettlement
and Rehabilitation Subgroup
under the
Chairmanship of Secretary SJ & E, Govt. of India.
Resettlement
Committee for SSP
under the Chairmanship of Secretary, M.O.SJ & E, Govt. of India.
Hydromet
Subgroup under
the Chairmanship of Executive Member, NCA.
Narmada
Main Canal Committee under
the Chairmanship of Executive Member, NCA.
Power
Sub-Committee under
the Chairmanship of Member (Power), NCA.
Sardar Sarovar Reservoir Regulation Committee
