Regular Being Steno Grade ‘D’, extended all the duties of PPS at my level best to cope up the work at par with PPS promptly with quality & independently by coordinating with Senior level officers of Party States and Central Ministries/ Departments. Moreover, my duties involved pursuing of files/Daks incoming/outgoing related to all Divisions of NCA as all the files are routed through EM; maintaining of status and follow up files/daks till its disposals and the same was complied swiftly with no stone unturned. Custody, upkeep of confidential files/papers and the trust bestowed upon me was maintained. Attending of routine duties viz. effectively attending of telephone calls/visitors, preparing of itineraries and ensuring all travel arrangements thereof; maintaining engagements; putting up of routine draft notes/letters etc. Assisted other Senior Officers of NCA in the eve of EM on tour/ leave or exigencies of work.      On account of non-availability/shortage of PPS/PS in NCA, the EM selected the undersigned to work with him amongst existing Stenos ‘D’.  Performed all the duties of PPS effectively with  quality without any additional staff/ support till new incumbent (PS) on deputation joined NCA. My overall performance was highly appreciated by the EM.

Regular I was posted to work in newly established Liaison Unit, New Delhi.  Basically, I was selectively posted to cope up the substantial Stenographic and Liaison works   with concerned Central Ministries/ Departments (WR; MoEF; MoSJ&E; Tribal Affairs, Supreme Court; CWC, NIC etc.) in connection of the case filed in Hon’ble Supreme Court in the matter of Narmada Bachao Andolan Vs. Union of India and Others for preparing Affidavits, written Submissions etc. and hence provided assistance to Attorney/ Solicitor General of India/ Senior Govt. Advocates etc often at their office/residence so as to finish the jobs in time bound manner besides providing of assistance to NCA Officers visiting (frequently) to Delhi down from Deputy Director to Executive Member; preparing of Agenda/ Minutes of Review Committee of NCA (RCNCA); NCA and its Subgroups/ Committees etc. It is to state that those days 100% all Subgroups/Committees/Main Meetings were use to held in New Delhi (sometimes verbatim of proceedings of the meetings and huge number of tabulation/data and Slides work related to Narmada, which I completed alone in given time period by sitting odd hours continuously as this was the routine working during that period); arranging all meetings; itineraries and travel arrangements (both inland and foreign) of the Senior Officers of NCA viz. EM, M(C), etc. as most of the essential/speedy works were dealt in NCA Liaison Unit, New Delhi as Officers required to visit frequently to attend Court Case work. I was also required to provide assistance to a Group comprising Dr. Vasant Gowarikar, Former Advisor (Science & Technology) to PM; Shri L.C. Jain, Former Member, Planning Commission & Ambassador to South Africa); Prof. V.C. Kulandaiswamy, Former V.C.,IGNOU and Shri Ramaswamy R Iyer, Former Secretary (WR), set up on instructions from Hon’ble Supreme Court to look into the various aspects of Sadar Sarovar Project and my performance in terms of quality and promptness was highly appreciated by the Group. Also carried out other assorted works assigned from time to time.
During the period, I was required to worked day/night continuously for years to cope up Court Case and other related work in time bound manner by providing secretarial assistance to all officers down from Deputy Director to EM; Supreme Court Advocates; and Senior Officers of Party States. I served to the best of my ability with sincerity, devotion to duty which helped NCA and Officers earn laurels, which culminated in historic judgment paving way for further raising the height of SSD. My overall performance was highly appreciated by the then EM, M(C),M(P) and Senior officers of Party States, CWC, NIC and Supreme Court Govt. Advocates etc.

Work mainly entrusted to me to assist Hon’ble Minister and PS/OSD/Addl.PS to Minister (WR) in maintaining Secret/ Confidential records/ files followed through on important issues with the Ministry as well as all the departments / organisation under Ministry and prompt submission of same; handling of Classified Documents; Agenda/Minutes of Cabinet Notes on various issues and trust bestowed upon me in this regard was maintained. In addition, effectively making comfortable visitors coming from the Constituency; preparing itineraries (Inland and Foreign) for Hon’ble Minister/PS and making of all arrangements thereof by dealing made through liaison with the officers of the Union/State/UT Governments/ Embassies/ High Commissions; preparation of bills of TA, Salary and other Allowances of Hon’ble Minister and to process and follow-up the same for timely results.  Also carried out other assorted works assigned from time to time All the works assigned were required to be  completed within time frame, which I effectively performed without fail by working in odd hours.  Maintaining and timely submission of Agenda/Minutes of Cabinet Notes on various issues to Hon’ble Minister. My work was highly appreciated and hence received appreciation letters from time to time.

New Delhi August, 2008 August, 2009 Regular Owing to shortage of PPS, I was attached with the Hon’ble Justice.  Effectively provided a good deal of assistance in maintaining Proceeding/Court & Confidential/Secret Records besides attending the duties of Court Master during increased work load or leave/absent of Court Master and completed the work within the time frame given by the His Lordship’s/Court by sitting odd hours . Promptly attended assigned liaison work for collecting related information from Party States, its departments, Supreme Court and High Courts from time to time. Handling of allied administrative works; monitor engagement; handle mails; visitors and phone calls; doing correspondence via email with the Party States; Govt. Advocates and Hon’ble Judges; formulation of itineraries, making all arrangements for His Lordship’s right from reservations of tickets and confirmation thereof, boarding, alighting at Delhi, seeing-off and receiving and taking care of stay and other comforts concerning the places of His Lordship’s visit and preparation of TA Bills, LTC, Medical etc. independently Working in Court and with Hon’ble Justice as PPS and Court Master was an innovative experience for me & work entrusted to me was completed efficiently using odd hours without caring my personal difficulties and inconveniences. My work was highly appreciated by His Lordship’s and Chairman of the Tribunal. Appreciation letters awarded to me are placed in my service record.

New Delhi August, 2009 Todate Regular Besides secretarial work, my duties include handling of Liaison work with State Govts and other concerned Ministries / Departments; correspondence of routine nature; effectively attend to phone calls/visitors, monitor engagements, correspond letter/notes etc via email; maintain Confidential/ Secret records; formulation of itineraries etc. Basic nature of work in this office is to liaise/coordinate/fix meetings with various Ministries/Deptts of Central and State Govts. etc. followed through on important issues with the concerned and prompt submission of same.  The raising of SSP assumed great importance during the year and active support was provided to the Controlling Officer in organizing the information and arranging the inputs from diverse sources. Support was also provided for collection of information on Forest Clearance status of Irrigation projects throughout the country and similarly information on irrigation potential being created through AIBP.   Providing of active liaison support in connection with matters related to prioritized projects under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY)/ AIBP, CADWM, RR&R; inter-linking/intra-linking of Rivers; On-the-Spot Study Visits of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of Working Group of MoWR from time to time etc.; preparation of Draft Cabinet/EFC Notes and Guidelines of AIBP; work relating to constitution of River Water Boards of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other Organisation under Ministry.  Providing of effective liaison/ protocol support in organising meetings amongst the higher level officers of Central/ UTs/State Govts. related to above furnished affairs; supervise the work of subordinate staff and outdoor visits/jobs for smooth and efficient running of the office.
