    • The works under NMC Phase-I (Km. 00 to Km 144.50) & Phase-IIA (km 144.50 to km 263.165) have been completed in all respects.
    • The work in Phase-IIB (Km 263.165 to Km 357.196) has been distributed into 8 packages and has been completed. Also work on three major structure viz. Rupen, Pushavati & Khari Canal Syphon has been completed. The work in two other major structures viz. Saraswati & Khari-II Canal Syphons is under progress & scheduled to be completed by Nov./Dec. 2007. In branch canals 72% earthwork, 53.19% lining & 63.09% concreting work has been completed.
    • The work of main canal in Phase-IIC (Km 357.196 to Km 458.412) is under progress & scheduled to be completed by February 2007. 85.32% earthwork, 45.02% lining & 21.53% concreting has been completed for main canal. Also work on two major structure is in progress & stipulated to be completed by Dec.07. However, Govt. of Gujarat will construct one monolith of each canal siphon by June 06 so that water can be supplied to Rajasthan. In branch canals 50.93% earthwork, 16.81% lining and 16.67% concreting has been completed.
