Functions:


1. To move in the submergence villages and in the area where rehabilitation is to be undertaken and directly ensure that rehabilitation is carried out.

2. To inspect the rehabilitation at intervals.

3. To submit reports after the field visit to the Supreme Court.

        Functions:

1. Evolving a network of data collecting stations for appropriate assessment of the available water resources in the basin using automated instruments.

2. Evolving a telecommunication network for real time transmission of data and a computer system for data processing.

3. Preparation of an operation and maintenance plan for the Hydromet system.

4. Monitoring, implementation of the Hydromet Network including telecommunication and computer system.

5. Evolving suitable software/ methodology for flood forecasting.
